HOW WE GOT STARTED

What We Do

What we do is simple: we make delicious cookies with healthy, natural ingredients. No, really. And if that doesn’t sound so simple (or even possible), it’s probably because our notions of "healthy" and "delicious" have been poked, prodded, processed and all around messed with more than, well, cookies!

So Let's Clarify

Healthy isn't just diet, calorie-free, gluten-free, vegan, or herbal. It also means just plain nutritious, providing the things healthy bodies need. Sure, our cookies have calories and fat, but not the “empty” or “trans” ones, just regular ones. The kind each cookie comes with because we use only organic whole grains - whole wheat flour, flaxseed and oatmeal that give you fiber, protein and Omega-3's. This makes Yummylicious™ cookies a great way to replace a meal or indulge your sweet tooth with a hearty, wholesome treat.

As for delicious, it doesn’t just come from artificial flavors, preservatives, hydrogenated oil or high fructose corn syrup. There’s a reason everyone loves grandma’s fresh-baked, homemade treats, and it’s not because they’re part science experiment. The best bakers know simple, natural ingredients and a little know-how are all it takes to create the tastiest delights around.

We figure there’s got to be something between tofu and twinkie. Turns out, there is—it’s called “real food.” You know, the stuff that comes from the ground and just has to be put together the right way, not concocted by people in lab coats.

TASTE OUR DIFFERENCE

How We Do It

How do we make wholesome cookies taste so good? That part wasn’t so simple. We checked out lots of other cookies, but couldn’t remember seeing half the ingredients in any cookbooks or recipes we’ve ever read. And frankly, if we can’t pronounce it, we don’t think we should eat it. Our passion is baking, not chemical engineering™.

So we set out to come up with a recipe and process that leaves out all the refined and processed sugar, flour, oil and what not. After a 15-year labor of love, we finally perfected our original recipe.

We use only 100% natural ingredients. We get everything as straight from the ground as we can, whether it’s organic whole wheat flour, fresh-ground peanut butter, or sugar from evaporated cane juice. Then we create each batch by hand to make sure each cookie is just right. So there you have it, the secret to our delicious and nutritious confection: natural cookies that are truly homemade. Of course, the "secret" is no secret at all. Excellence in, excellent out, we always say. Well, we say other stuff too, but you get the idea...

GIVING BACK

What We Do

This one is the simplest of all. We do all this because we want to do right by everyone involved—all the people who make, sell, buy and eat Yummylicious™ cookies. The best way to do that is by operating differently—making cookies that are both good and good for you, being honest about and honest with our ingredients, and celebrating God’s goodness by using ingredients from His good Earth. We are also committed to donating 10% of all revenue, not just our profits, to worthwhile causes. We started this from Day 1 and will continue as a matter of principle and trust.
